Up to 20% of women and 15% of men develop a mental health problem during pregnancy or withing a year of giving birth. The Space for Perinatal Wellbeing programme has been designed for those who are experiencing or may be at rish of experiencing low mood or worry during the perinatal period (during pregnancy, up until a year after birth).
Using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), individuals can learn to better understand their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours and learn how to make positive changes surrounding perinatal mental health challenges, thus improving their overall wellbeing.
