We have a list size ~22,500 patients with 6 GP Partners and 6 salaried GPs supported by long established unscheduled care team including emergency care practitioners who do most house calls, advanced nurse practitioners, Practice nursing, administration, pharmacy and community nursing teams.

We are an established Training and Undergraduate Teaching Practice with an excellent supportive educational environment both internally and externally.

We wish to continue developing high standards of patient care, ensuring that the skill mix of the Practice enables safe, effective treatment and care.

Your role at Maryhill includes a mixture of face to face and telephone appointments, triaging eConsults and sessions as duty doctor where you are well supported by the wider team as above. We are paper light using Vision and Docman. We also benefit from having Dr Gray’s, District General Hospital including A&E services located just across the road. We hold regular meetings with our secondary care colleagues to foster and facilitate good primary/secondary care working. We also hold weekly practice meetings and journal club to optimise our multidisciplinary approach and team working.

We are looking to recruit a salaried GP with the number of sessions being negotiable. Due to the age range of current workforce Partnership opportunities will be available in the future.

We offer a very competitive rate of pay including private medical insurance and medical indemnity cover. Golden Hello will also be available if eligible.
