Stopping Smoking
The majority of local pharmacies in Moray can offer brief one-to-one advice on stopping smoking. Advice on all aspects of smoking cessation and Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) is provided. The majority of participating pharmacies offer this service on a drop-in basis.
NHS Grampian
If you live in Grampian and would like help and support to stop smoking then you can contact the NHS Grampian Public Health Healthpoint service. Call our Healthline on 08085 20 20 30 and speak to an advisor who can help you find the right support for you including access to free stop smoking medications such as Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).
You can also e-mail Healthpoint on gram.healthpoint@nhs.scot and an advisor will get back to you. The Healthpoint service is available Mon-Fri 9-5pm.

Drug and Alcohol Advice- Quarriers Arrows
Quarriers Arrows Service provides drug and alcohol support in Moray.
What they do:
- assessment and support for adults experiencing substance or alcohol misuse
- direct access for Moray Integrated Drug and Alcohol Service
- recovery support, one-to-one and group
- harm reduction advice
- Naloxone training
- needle exchange

Alcoholics Anonymous Great Britain
AA is concerned solely with the personal recovery and continued sobriety of individuals whom struggle with alcohol who turn to the Fellowship for help. AA does not engage in the fields of research, medical or psychiatric treatment, education or advocacy in any form.
